Deputy Young has been a K-9 handler since 2006. He handles K-9 Morgan, a 4 year old Black Labrador Retriever. She is a certified Narcotics detection dog trained to detect the odors of Marijuana, Cocaine, Heroin, Hashish as well as many other odors. She has had many successful Narcotic finds while assisting State, Local and Federal agencies. Dep. Young is currently training K-9 candidate Puppy Athena who also is from the litter of Dutch Shepherds bred here at the Sheriff’s Office.
