Depositing Funds for an Incarcerated Individual

An account is set up for each incarcerated individual at the time of booking into the Barnstable County Correctional Facility. This account allows friends and family to deposit monies so the individual can purchase personal items, snacks, postage, etc. through the facility commissary.

There are four ways to deposit funds into an inmate's account:

  • Call toll-free: 866-345-1884
  • Go Online to Access Corrections
  • Stop by the Barnstable County Correctional Facility between the hours of 7:30 am and 9 pm (7 days a week) and make a deposit into the canteen kiosk in the facility lobby. The kiosk accepts credit cards and cash denominations between $5 and $100. Please note the maximum daily deposit allowed is $300.
  • Mail a money order or bank check (no personal or payroll checks are accepted) to:
  • Barnstable County Sheriff's Office
    Attn: Inmate Accounts
    6000 Sheriff's Place
    Bourne, MA 02532
Made payable to inmate's name and ID Number
  • If you need assistance:

    please call 508-563-4317, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

  • Please be sure to note your name and address on the check (even if it's a bank check). This way we will be able to confirm receipt if you call to ask.
